Baitul Mukkaram was founded to create an open and safe place for daily prayer, learning and cultural ties. A mosque is the house of Allah ﷻ — everyone is welcome.
Our story
From a rented hall to our own home
Today, Baitul Mukkaram gathers in a rented space here in Denmark. Our dream — and our ongoing work — is to give this community its first permanent home: what we hope, inshaAllah, will be the first Bangladeshi-founded mosque in Denmark.
A mosque does not belong to any nation. It is the house of Allah ﷻ, open to every believer. At the same time, our roots trace back to Bangladesh, and we are proud to serve Denmark's growing Bangladeshi Muslim community alongside everyone who walks through our doors.
